I'm the Vice President of Development for the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, the only organization responsible for the full national landscape of state legislatures, crafting the long-term strategy to elect Democrats across the country. I deeply believe that state legislatures are the building blocks of our democracy and pass the policies that most affect Americans’ day-to-day lives.

I drive multi-channel fundraising strategies tightly integrated with our organizational messaging, election cycles, compliance standards, and cash flow needs. By leading my team to build robust donor pipelines, execute compelling campaigns, and utilize innovative tools and tactics, I deliver sustainable financial growth.

In my role as an in-person and virtual fundraising, communications, and field trainer for the National Democratic Training Committee, our nation's largest Democratic campaign training organization, I'm a part of the mission of equipping Democrats with the skills, tools, and resources necessary to win elections and build enduring power in their communities.

NDTC is a pivotal resource, having trained more Democrats in effective campaign strategies than any other. I have engaged with hundreds of candidates, campaign staffers, and local leaders, offering expert training and resources tailored to the intricate landscape of political campaigns.

In this role, I both led and supported the development of effective systems and processes for a rapidly growing organization, driving significant improvements in operational efficiency and fundraising effectiveness. I accomplished this along with my team by utilizing advanced tools to optimize fundraising efforts, enabling precise donor engagement and helping securing major gifts.

The restructure of the relational giving program pipeline improved the donor experience and increased funds raised. My commitment is to compelling communication, impacting donor behavior, and furthering our mission and fundraising goals. Under my leadership, the team successfully met ambitious targets for the 2022 Q4 fundraising season, demonstrating our ability to deliver under pressure and innovate communication strategies for long-term success.

As a dedicated member of the inaugural DEIB and BIPOC Committee, I contributed to creating inclusive policies and structures that integrated diversity and equity into our organization's strategy and operations, reflecting our commitment to a broader social impact. My role was integral in advancing our organization's growth and fostering a culture of inclusivity, excellence, and sustained impact.

As the Founder of ApaFirm, I spearheaded campaign planning and fundraising strategy, implementing comprehensive approaches for candidates and organizations across over 40 states. My team and I developed and managed full-service fundraising strategies, including calltime, events, PAC, and online and offline tactics.

Collaboration was key; I partnered with media, communications, research, polling, and digital fundraising consultants and internal campaign team members to ensure our messaging and strategies were impactful, resonated with diverse audiences, and aligned with campaign goals. Together, we developed and implemented plans to identify, cultivate, steward, upgrade, and renew donors, establishing long-term relationships and continuous support for our candidates and causes.

Leading from the front, I built and managed teams of passionate and skilled individuals, coordinating efforts both on the ground and remotely. Our teams worked to maintain a competitive edge, holding fast to fundamentals and utilizing the newest technology tools to ensure the most efficient and effective processes and workflows.
